Designed for compact outdoor deployments, this custom single door cabinet (800W × 300D × 1200H) offers a practical and flexible enclosure solution for telecommunications, energy, and infrastructure applications. Its slim depth and efficient layout make it ideal for installations where space is limited while still requiring reliable equipment protection and accessibility.
Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium with a UV-resistant powder-coated finish, the cabinet is engineered for durability in New Zealand’s demanding environments, including coastal exposure and high UV conditions. The enclosure supports high ingress protection performance (up to IP66 depending on configuration), ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.
The front door is fitted with a wind stay for controlled opening and safer maintenance access in outdoor conditions. Security is provided through a 3-point locking system with a padlockable swing handle, ensuring consistent sealing and secure access.
Ventilation is achieved through louvers positioned on both sides at the top and bottom, complete with filter foam to support airflow while reducing dust ingress. This enables effective passive cooling for installed equipment.
Internally, the cabinet is equipped with three vertical mounting rails featuring 3 mm hole patterns, allowing flexible equipment installation and adjustment. Additional internal features include two divider channels at the top to support structured cable management and equipment organisation.
The cabinet includes an aluminium gland plate for cable entry and is designed with a cross-folded roof to enhance structural strength and weather protection. An optional 200 mm aluminium plinth with removable insulated front panel is available, providing a stable base and easier installation on site.
