Cabinet Shelves

Cable Ways cabinet shelves provide secure and reliable support for equipment that cannot be mounted directly onto 19-inch rack rails. They are ideal for networking, telecommunications, industrial control, AV equipment, UPS units and battery systems.

Whether you’re fitting out a new cabinet or upgrading an existing installation, choosing the right shelf will help maximise cabinet space, improve equipment accessibility and ensure safe operation.

How to Select Your Cabinet Shelf

Step 1 – Choose the Shelf Type

Cantilever Shelves: Designed for lightweight equipment and supported from the front mounting rails. Ideal for small networking devices and peripherals.

Fixed Vented Shelves : Provide a strong, permanent platform for equipment. The vented design improves airflow, making them suitable for routers, switches, servers and other electronic equipment.

Sliding Shelves: Allow equipment to slide out from the cabinet for easy installation, servicing and maintenance without removing the equipment.

Battery Shelves: Heavy-duty shelves designed to support batteries and other high-weight equipment requiring additional load capacity.

Step 2 – Select the Shelf Depth

Choose a shelf depth that suits your cabinet and fully supports your equipment while allowing sufficient space for cable management and ventilation.

Step 3 – Check the Load Capacity

Ensure the shelf is rated to safely support the total weight of your equipment.

Step 4 – Select Your Product

Browse the products below or use the filters on the left to find the shelf that best suits your application.
