Designed for compact outdoor deployments, this single bay, 2-door cabinet (600W × 560D × 1200H) provides a robust and practical enclosure solution for telecommunications, energy, and infrastructure applications. Its space-efficient footprint makes it suitable for installations requiring reliable equipment protection while maintaining ease of access for servicing.
Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium with a UV-resistant powder-coated finish, the cabinet is engineered for durability in New Zealand’s demanding environments, including coastal exposure and high UV conditions. The enclosure supports high ingress protection performance (up to IP66 depending on configuration), ensuring reliable protection against dust and water ingress.
The cabinet features a dual-door configuration with differentiated access. The front door is equipped with a 3-point locking system, padlockable swing handle, and key-operated night latch, providing enhanced security and controlled access. The rear door is screw-fixed with a standard door stay, allowing restricted access where required for operational control.
Ventilation is provided through louvers on both sides at the top and bottom, enabling natural convection airflow for passive cooling. The enclosure is fully insulated to reduce heat transfer and help maintain stable internal conditions for installed equipment.
Internally, the cabinet is fitted with front-mounted vertical rails featuring 3.5 mm holes at 25 mm centres, allowing flexible and precise equipment mounting. Two divider channels at the top support organised cable management and separation.
The cabinet includes split aluminium gland plates to enable efficient cable entry and segregation. A cross-folded roof enhances structural strength and promotes effective water runoff for improved weather protection.
For installation, the cabinet is mounted on a 200 mm aluminium plinth with removable front and rear panels, providing easy access during setup and maintenance. The front door is supported by a gas strut for controlled opening and improved safety during operation.
Combining secure access control, flexible internal configuration, and durable construction, this cabinet is well suited for outdoor environments where performance, protection, and serviceability are essential
