Product description

Engineered for high-capacity outdoor deployments, this triple bay, 3-door cabinet (2400W × 800D × 2480H) offers a robust and flexible enclosure solution for telecommunications, energy, and infrastructure projects. Its multi-bay configuration provides generous internal space, making it suitable for complex equipment systems requiring reliable protection and accessibility.

Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium with a UV-resistant powder-coated finish, the cabinet is designed to withstand rugged New Zealand conditions, including coastal exposure and high UV environments. The enclosure supports high ingress protection performance (up to IP66 depending on configuration), ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.

The cabinet includes two internal mullions and three full-height doors, each fitted with padlockable swing handles integrated with a 3-point locking system, providing secure and consistent door sealing across the enclosure. This ensures both equipment protection and controlled access in field installations.

Ventilation is achieved through multiple louvers positioned at the top and bottom of the end panels, enabling natural convection airflow for passive cooling. Thermal performance is further enhanced with full insulation, using 25 mm nonwoven polyester fibre applied to both the cabinet skin and doors. This helps reduce heat transfer and maintain more stable internal conditions for sensitive equipment.

A backward sloping roof supports effective water runoff and added weather protection, while the base is designed to accommodate a 50 × 100 outward-facing HDG channel, providing a strong and adaptable mounting interface for site installation.

Combining durability, thermal efficiency, and secure access, this cabinet is a reliable solution for large outdoor installations requiring performance in demanding environments.
