This single-door outdoor cabinet (600W × 400D × 1200H) is designed to house telecommunications, control, and infrastructure equipment in demanding outdoor environments.
Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium, the cabinet delivers long-term durability and corrosion resistance, supported by a UV-resistant powder-coated finish
The cabinet features front access only, secured with a three-point eselon padlocking swing handle and Lockwood 100FB night latch, providing strong and controlled access for public or remote installations. A gas strut-assisted front door ensures ease of operation, while a double door seal enhances environmental protection against dust and moisture.
Thermal management is achieved through natural ventilation, with vents positioned on the sides (top and bottom) to support passive airflow and maintain internal conditions without the need for powered cooling.
Internally, the cabinet is fitted with vertical mounting rails with 3.5 mm holes at 25 mm centres, allowing flexible equipment installation. The design also includes two divider channels to support structured equipment layout and separation where required.
Cable entry is facilitated through aluminium gland plates split in half, enabling practical installation and maintenance access.
An optional insulated configuration is available to enhance thermal stability and protect sensitive equipment in more demanding environments. For installation flexibility, an optional 200 mm aluminium plinth with removable front and rear panels can be included, providing improved cable management and site adaptability.
This cabinet is well suited for applications such as telecommunications nodes, fibre and radio installations, monitoring systems, and utility infrastructure where durability, secure access, and flexible internal configuration are essential.
