The Single Door Battery Cabinet – HEX Open Roof (750W × 650D × 1800H) is purpose-built to provide secure outdoor housing for backup battery systems supporting telecommunications, utility, transport, renewable energy, and industrial infrastructure.

Designed as a dedicated battery enclosure, the cabinet is commonly installed alongside equipment or communications cabinets (radio cabinets), providing a separate environment for battery storage to improve system reliability, safety, and battery life.

The cabinet incorporates a heat exchanger (HEX) door that provides efficient closed-loop cooling by transferring heat from inside the enclosure while preventing dust, moisture, and contaminants from entering. To further enhance thermal performance, the enclosure also features two integrated cooling fans and an open roof design, promoting effective airflow and heat dissipation in high ambient temperature environments.

Manufactured from 2.5mm marine-grade aluminium and finished with a durable UV-resistant powder coat, the cabinet is engineered to withstand harsh outdoor conditions while providing excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. Stainless steel hinge blocks and a secure flush front locking system ensure durability and protection for valuable battery assets.
