This single-door outdoor cabinet (600W × 600D × 1100H) is designed to house 19″ rack-mounted equipment (19RU) for telecommunications, control, and infrastructure applications in demanding outdoor environments.
Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium, the cabinet offers long-term durability and corrosion resistance, supported by a UV-resistant powder-coated finish suitable for New Zealand conditions. Standard features include stainless steel chassis hinge blocks and an ingress protection rating of up to IP66 (subject to application), ensuring reliable environmental protection.
Thermal management is achieved through natural convection ventilation, allowing passive airflow via vented door design without the need for powered cooling. This makes it a low-maintenance and energy-efficient solution for outdoor deployments.
Security is provided through a flush front locking system with three-point locking, ensuring controlled and secure access in public or remote installations. The single-door configuration allows straightforward front access to equipment, supporting efficient installation and servicing.
