The Double Bay 2-Door Cabinet (1480W × 750D × 1432H) is engineered to protect telecommunications, electrical, and control equipment in harsh New Zealand environments. With a double-bay configuration and 27RU capacity, the enclosure provides ample space for network and system integration while maintaining secure and convenient access through two front doors and a three-point locking system.
The cabinet can be configured with four pairs of 19″ EIA mounting rails in stainless steel 316 or with gear trays, enabling flexible installation of communication, SCADA, telemetry, and electrical equipment. Cable entry and service access are simplified through a polypropylene base with removable gland plates, allowing easy cable management and future upgrades.
Designed for long-term outdoor deployment, the enclosure is insulated on five sides to improve thermal stability and protect sensitive equipment. The cabinet can also be mounted on an optional 100 mm high aluminium plinth to elevate the enclosure above ground level, improving installation flexibility and protection from moisture or debris.
Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium with UV-resistant polyester powder coating in Ghost Grey Ripple, the cabinet provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability. These enclosures are widely used across telecommunications, utilities, water monitoring, and infrastructure projects where reliable environmental protection and long service life are required.
