Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium with a UV-resistant powder-coated finish, the cabinet is engineered for durability in New Zealand’s demanding environments, including coastal exposure and high UV conditions. The enclosure supports high ingress protection performance (up to IP66 depending on configuration), ensuring reliable protection against dust and water ingress.
The cabinet features double front doors, providing full-width access for equipment installation and maintenance. Doors are fitted with a flush front locking system for secure and streamlined access control in field conditions.
Thermal management is achieved through natural ventilation, with louvers integrated into the doors and fitted with filter foam to allow airflow while minimising dust ingress. The cabinet is also insulated on all sides, supporting improved thermal stability and protection of sensitive equipment.
Internally, the cabinet includes a polypropylene rear gear plate for mounting equipment, along with a dedicated battery shelf for energy storage applications. Two divider channels provide structured cable management and separation within the enclosure.
