Single-bay 2-door outdoor cabinet (750W × 750D × 1432H) engineered for telecommunications, fibre, and infrastructure applications requiring flexible mounting, active cooling, and secure access in outdoor environments.
The cabinet is configured with two pairs of 19″ / 23″ EIA mounting rails (field configurable), offset inward using eight box section spacers. This arrangement provides improved clearance for cabling, better airflow pathways, and flexibility to accommodate a wide range of equipment depths and configurations.
Thermal management is achieved through a forced convection system with fan-assisted airflow, supporting consistent internal temperature control and improved heat dissipation for active equipment. This makes the cabinet suitable for higher load applications where passive ventilation alone is not sufficient.
Both front and rear doors are fitted with swing handle padlock locking systems, providing secure, practical access for installation and maintenance. The dual-door configuration allows efficient servicing from both sides, particularly useful in field deployments and confined spaces.
The cabinet includes a polypropylene base with removable access gland plates, enabling flexible and organised cable entry. This design supports straightforward installation and adaptability to site-specific cable layouts.
Optional 5-sided insulation can be included to enhance thermal stability and reduce heat transfer in exposed environments. For installation flexibility, the cabinet can be mounted on an optional 100 mm aluminium plinth, improving drainage, cable management, and positioning on uneven or prepared surfaces.
Constructed for durability in outdoor conditions, this cabinet is suited for telecommunications, transport, water, and energy infrastructure applications where robust construction, controlled airflow, and adaptable internal configuration are required.
