Product description

This single door outdoor power cabinet – Seismic Category 2 (750W × 800D × 2050H) is engineered for telecommunications and infrastructure applications requiring integrated power systems, advanced thermal management, and enhanced structural resilience. With an approximate 41RU single-bay configuration, it supports standard 19″ rack-mounted equipment, making it suitable for power distribution, backup systems, and network integration.

The cabinet is equipped with a heat exchanger (HEX) door incorporating 4 fans, delivering efficient closed-loop cooling. This system removes heat while preventing external air from entering the enclosure, maintaining a clean and controlled internal environment—critical for protecting sensitive electrical and power equipment.

Designed to meet Seismic Category 2 requirements, the cabinet provides enhanced structural strength for installations in higher seismic risk areas, ensuring equipment stability and continuity of operation in demanding conditions.

Security is provided through a flush front locking system with three-point locking, offering a clean external appearance and secure, controlled access to internal components.

For installation flexibility, the cabinet can be supplied with an optional 150 mm hot-dip galvanised (HDG) plinth, allowing stable ground mounting, improved cable entry management, and protection from ground-level moisture and environmental exposure.

Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium with a UV-resistant powder-coated finish, the cabinet is designed for long-term durability in harsh outdoor environments. It supports high ingress protection (up to IP66 depending on configuration), ensuring reliable protection against dust and water ingress.

This cabinet provides a robust and integrated solution for outdoor power and telecommunications systems where thermal performance, environmental sealing, and seismic resilience are critical.
