This single-door 19″ cabinet (700W x 400D x 1400H) is constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade material, delivering excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in outdoor environments. The enclosure is finished with a high-quality powder-coat system aligned with AS/NZS 2312.1:2014 for protective paint coatings on structural components.
To meet NZ Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) requirements, the cabinet is treated with an approved anti-graffiti coating, applied prior to installation in accordance with the NZTA S10 Specification for Anti-Graffiti Coatings. This provides improved surface protection, reduced cleaning effort, and resilience in exposed public areas.
The cabinet complies with ITS-STND-CAB-202502 and ITS-SPEC-CAB-202502, making it suitable for roadside ITS, communications, traffic management, and power-system applications. Standard 19″ mounting rails accommodate a wide range of equipment including ITS controllers, networking hardware, UPS units, and auxiliary power systems. Natural ventilation is provided through door louvers fitted with filter foam, allowing passive airflow while minimising dust and contaminant ingress.
Security is enhanced with a robust three-point locking system paired with a combination lock, while a meter viewing window enables quick inspection without opening the door. An integrated battery base stand provides a stable platform for housing backup or auxiliary batteries. An optional 100 mm aluminium plinth is available to increase installation height and improve cable management and site stability.
