The Single Bay 2 Door EcoStar Cabinet with pergola roof is a high-performance outdoor enclosure designed to securely house telecommunications, data and industrial equipment in exposed environments. Measuring 750 mm wide × 750 mm deep × 1430 mm high, the single bay configuration provides two access doors for efficient installation, operation and maintenance.
The cabinet features an aluminium skin combined with a pergola-style aluminium roof that reduces direct solar heat gain. The pergola roof creates an air gap above the enclosure, allowing hot air to dissipate naturally and minimising heat transfer to the cabinet body. This passive thermal design helps improve internal temperature stability and extend the service life of installed equipment.
The enclosure is supplied with a selectable option of either 19″ or 23″ equipment mounting rails, allowing compatibility with different rack standards. The two-door configuration includes one door fitted with naturally vented louvers to support passive airflow, while the second door can be supplied with an optional fan to provide forced ventilation for applications requiring enhanced cooling performance.
Additional options include polypropylene-based removable access gland plates, enabling convenient cable entry and access to an optional 100 mm aluminium plinth. The cabinet also includes five-sided internal insulation to further support thermal efficiency and environmental protection.
Security is provided through a flush front door design with a robust three-point locking system. Designed for outdoor deployment, the EcoStar cabinet is well suited to telecommunications, data, utility and industrial applications where effective heat management, flexible configuration options and secure equipment housing are essential.
