This double door outdoor radio cabinet – Seismic Category 2 (750W × 800D × 2050H) is engineered for telecommunications and infrastructure applications requiring high-capacity equipment housing, advanced thermal management, and enhanced structural resilience. With an approximate 41RU configuration, it supports standard 19″ rack-mounted equipment, making it suitable for radio, transmission, and network systems.

The cabinet features a double door configuration, providing improved access for installation and maintenance while allowing better organisation of internal equipment layouts in field deployments.

Thermal performance is managed through a heat exchanger (HEX) door system with 4 fans, delivering closed-loop cooling. This approach removes internal heat while preventing external air from entering the enclosure, maintaining a clean and controlled environment essential for sensitive radio equipment operating outdoors.

Designed to meet Seismic Category 2 requirements, the cabinet offers enhanced structural strength for installations in higher seismic risk areas, ensuring stability and continuity of operation in critical infrastructure environments.

Security is ensured through a flush front locking system with three-point locking, providing a clean external profile and secure, controlled access to internal components.

For installation flexibility, the cabinet can be supplied with an optional 150 mm hot-dip galvanised (HDG) plinth, enabling stable ground mounting, improved cable entry management, and protection from ground-level moisture and environmental exposure.

Constructed from 2.5 mm marine-grade aluminium with a UV-resistant powder-coated finish, the cabinet is built for long-term durability in harsh outdoor environments. It supports high ingress protection (up to IP66 depending on configuration), ensuring reliable protection against dust and water ingress.
